Use Your Dental Supplies Before Bed

The risks of not brushing before bed are grave. It is at night that plaque begins to party, and your teeth wind up with the hangover. That’s why it’s so important to brush and floss with dental supplies before bedtime. That way you stop the party before it begins.
Saliva helps to clean your teeth. It provides a buffer between your teeth and enamel-damage, cavities, plaque and fungal growth. When you sleep you’re more likely to experience dry mouth, which can occur from a variety of reasons, such as snoring, tobacco use, and unhealthy foods. Which is why if you awake in the middle of the night with your mouth open and cottony, it is important to practice breathing through your nose when sleeping.
In the old days, folks used to suck on stones to ward off hunger and thirst, and likely to clean their mouths since excess saliva production is a way to combat bad breath or a sore throat. But since the advent of modern dental supplies, preventing bad breath and cavities has become much simpler. All it takes is a little dedication on your part.
So brush and floss before bed, then appreciate the dental supplies and dental hygiene products that allow us to have nice clean teeth.
