How to Brush Your Teeth With Dental Hygiene Products

dental hygiene products

Dental hygiene products are crucial to good dental hygiene, but technique matters also. Brushing your teeth is very important to excellent dental health, however, most people don’t brush the right way. This post will describe the proper way to brush your teeth with dental hygiene products.

You should use a toothbrush that is small and soft bristled. Many dental hygiene products are too big to clean an individual tooth, and wind up covering two or even three, leaving behind the more susceptible areas of a tooth, i.e. the gum line and crevices between teeth. Don’t brush too hard; instead move your brush in small semicircles. You should not be able to hear the RUSHAHRUSHAHRUSHSA of traditional tooth brushing, but rather a softer wooshawhooshawoosh.

Be sure to hold your brush at a 45 degree angle so that you clean the areas between your teeth. Start with the outsides of your teeth, then the areas that crush food, then the insides. Spend ten or so circles in each area before moving on to the next. It should take at least two minutes to properly clean your teeth. Feel free to invest in other dental hygiene products and dentist supplies to supplement your tooth brushing.
